The National Hurricane Center's 10 pm Wednesday advisory reported that the potential tropical cyclone is 215 miles east-northeast of Cabo Gracias A Dios On Nic hon Border and 380 miles east of Isla Guanaja Honduras, with maximum sustained wind of 30 mph. It’s moving at 9 mph to the west.

A tropical disturbance building in the Caribbean Sea has been designated as Potential Tropical Cyclone 19 by the National Hurricane Center, and is forecast to strengthen into a tropical storm – known as Tropical Storm Sara – over the next few days.

At 4 pm Sunday, the National Hurricane Center released the final advisory for the post-tropical cyclone system. The tropical storm Rafael has weakened into a post-tropical cyclone. Post Tropical Cyclone Rafael is 345 miles north-northwest of Progreso Mexico, with maximum sustained wind of 35 mph. It’s moving at 3 mph to the east.

"The disturbance is forecast to be near hurricane strength when it moves near the eastern coast of Honduras on Friday and Saturday," the NHC warned.

Storm Team 10 and the National Hurricane Center are monitoring Potential Cyclone 19, which formed in the Caribbean today. . Global models are more consistent with a stronger tropical system developing in the Caribbean and eventually lifting northwards into the Gulf of Mexico next week.
