DALLAS – The Dallas Police Department has not given any updates four days into its investigation into how a Southwest flight departing for Indianapolis was hit with a bullet on the runway at Dallas Love Field.

Dallas police are investigating after a Southwest Airlines flight was struck by a bullet Friday evening as it was preparing to depart from Dallas Love Field Airport in Texas, authorities said.

A Southwest Airlines plane was shot while preparing to take off from Dallas Love Field on Friday. FOX 4's Amelia Jones talked to the Lee family who was on the plane at the time of the shooting.
