Les Bleus skipper Antoine Dupont could follow in the footsteps of New Zealand’s Portia Woodman after being named as a nominee for the World Rugby Men’s 7s Player of the Year. Should Dupont win the award he will become the first male player to have claimed the Player of the Year title for both 15s and 7s.

Ireland's Caelan Doris has been nominated for World Rugby's men's 15s Player of the Year award. Doris played a key role in Ireland's successful Six Nations and captained Andy Farrell's side to a thrilling win over South Africa in Durban.

CAELAN DORIS AND Aoife Wafer have been voted as players of the year by Irish rugby writers. Ireland captain Doris led the international men’s side to a consecutive Six Nations title in March and has been a standout player for Ireland and his province Leinster on the domestic and European stages.
