Roblox is adding more protections to its platform for its youngest users, a move that comes about a month after short-selling firm Hindenburg Research accused the videogame company of favoring growth over child safety.

Roblox announced today they have designed more safety tools to protect younger gamers, adding in more parental controls soon.

Following recent reports and criticisms of Roblox’s child-safety protections, the younger-skewing online gaming platform is implementing new measures, including the automatic blocking of direct messaging for users under the age of 13 and parents’ ability to regulate the level of “mature” content available to their kids,
