CINCINNATI — The Bengals acquired former Patriots cornerback Marco Wilson off waivers on Tuesday. The 25-year-old is in his fourth NFL season. Wilson has 15 tackles and one pass defensed in 10 games this season. He has 174 tackles and three interceptions in 54 career games (37 starts).

He's started 37 games in his career so far and in 54 games, Wilson has recorded 174 tackles, 19 pass deflections and three interceptions. The Bengals placed DJ Turner on injured reserve on Tuesday afternoon and now be down their starting two cornerbacks with Dax Hill out for the season.

Former Patriots cornerback Marco Wilson is on to Cincinnati. Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Bengals have claimed Wilson off of waivers. The Patriots cut Wilson on Monday in order to make room for cornerback Alex Austin’s return from injured reserve.

In a corresponding move, the team placed cornerback DJ Turner II on the injured reserve list. A second-year player out of Michigan, Turner suffered a collarbone injury in Sunday night’s game vs. the Los Angeles Chargers.

ARIZONA -- The Cincinnati Bengals are claiming former Arizona Cardinals CB Marco Wilson after he was recently waived by the New England Patriots. Wilson played 10 games for the Patriots this season as a backup corner. He previously started 37 games for the Cardinals from 2021-2023 before being released.
