Atlanta police are investigating a deadly shooting that took place near a southwest Atlanta apartment complex Sunday afternoon.

ATLANTA — A teenager is dead after he was shot at a Southeast Atlanta apartment complex on Sunday. The Atlanta Police Department say just after 1 p.m. they responded to 183 Mount Zion Road SE to a person shot call. When they arrived, police located a 17-year-old male who had been shot multiple times and was not alert, conscious or breathing.

On August 31, Cedron Tigner was arrested for prowling, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and theft by receiving stolen property. On September 2, while he was still being held at the Fulton County Jail, detectives charged him with murder.
